We are sorry that you were delivered products that didn’t meet your shelf life expectations. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure we have a range of products always available to meet the spontaneous and urgent needs of our customers, with a shelf life similar to that of a supermarket.
As a business with sustainability at our core, it’s also important for us to minimise waste by making sure we don’t remove products from sale unnecessarily.
We aim to strike the right balance between the remaining shelf life and how quickly we believe customers are likely to consume a product after delivery. In this instance, it appears we haven’t got that balance quite right or have made an honest mistake, and we apologise unreservedly.
